HEG was created in 1991 as a software and scanning company to assist companies in managing massive amounts of paper documents and engineering drawings. The advent of personal computers at each employee’s desk and the birth of local area networks were the perfect tools for finally sharing, storing and managing documents electronically. As the computer power increased substantially and networking made unpredicted strides, HEG devoted more time and resources to the world of data management and software development.
